This is the only device that uses your voice to control an iPod's functions, keeping your hands free. With the device clipped to your lapel or hung around the neck and your iPod securely in a pocket, verbal commands control all basic iPod functions, including play, stop, next and previous track, and rewind. Saying "volume up" or "volume down" commands the iPod to increase or decrease the volume level by one increment. The device plugs into your iPod's dock connector and your headphones plug into the device's audio jack. It draws its power from the iPod, and thus requires no batteries.
