The Plant Protecting Wraps

Instead of scrambling with towels the night before a frost, use these breathable wraps to protect young plants from temperature extremes common at the change of seasons. Made in Italy and available for the first time in the United States, the wraps allow water and air transpiration to stimulate plant growth, and they also trap warm air to encourage a better growing environment for young greenery. A chemical-free way to encourage faster growth of seedlings, the wraps guard against damage by heavy wind, insects, pelting rain, or severe sun, and they can be left on 24 hours a day until the plant is strong enough and mature enough to survive on its own. The white surface is UV treated to help deflect the harsh effects of direct sunlight, and also keeps a more constant, even temperature inside to foster faster and healthier plant growth. Each polyethylene wrap will cover a plant approximately 13 3/4" diameter x 55" high, and will provide protection for at least six months. Comes with ties to gently secure the wrap around the plant. Wraps are 39 1/3" W x 63" L. Rinses clean with water and a mild neutral soap. Set of three.
