Product Story
Unlike other core lawn aerators that leave unsightly plugs scattered across your yard, this one has a receptacle that can hold up to 200 plugs, allowing you to conveniently remove them for emptying into a compost pile or fencerow. Aeration reduces your lawn's soil compaction and thatch, and allows air, water and nutrients to reach the root level of your grass. Ideal for problem patches of turf or for use on smaller lawns, it removes and collects five 2" plugs in a 12" wide strip each time you insert its hollow tines into the ground. The stainless steel spring-loaded tines pull an optimally sized plug, unlike aerator shoes that further compact the soil. 39" H x 11" W x 5 3/4" D. (7 1/2 lbs.)
