This is the portable device that plays treasured vinyl LPs and converts them to digital (WAV) format, preserving out-of-print recordings. With a platter smaller than a teacup saucer, the belt-driven turntable plays 33 and 45-rpm records using a diamond stylus that reproduces sound through its integrated 2-watt stereo speaker. It plugs into a computer running Windows 7, Vista, XP, or a Mac using the included USB cable--recordings are converted and transferred directly to a computer as a WAV file. It also has a built-in FM transmitter that plays records over unused frequencies on any stereo tuner's speakers. Its line-out port and included stereo cable allows direct connection to a stereo system. Includes software for breaking albums into individual tracks and removing scratches, hisses, and pops. Includes 45 rpm adapter. Durable ABS construction with integrated handle for easy transport. Six AA batteries (required) provide up to 10 hours of continuous play time; also operates with included AC adapter. 3" H x 4" W x 11" L. (3 1/2 lbs.)
