The Remote Controlled Gyroscopic Plane

This is the remote-controlled airplane that provides a stable airframe using four individual propellers and a gyro-stabilization system. Each of the four horizontal propellers are placed at fixed pitch of 15° forward, backward, left, and right--similar to the collective pitch of a helicopter's rotor--providing precise control of yaw, pitch, and roll for movement in any direction. The aircraft takes off vertically and hovers, then, as you adjust the control sticks on the four-channel infrared remote, the motion-sensing gyros automatically adjust the speeds of the propellers to provide smooth, aerodynamically balanced flight. The plane can be controlled up to 32' away in direct line of sight; indoor use recommended. Its rechargeable batt ery provides 10 minutes of flight from a 30-minute charge using its AC adapter.
