The Remote Controlled Monorail Metropolis

This remote-controlled monorail hauls freight along 8' of track and deposits loads into a system of bins, lifts, and chutes, putting young engineers in control of a futuristic industrial metropolis. Children drive the monorail up to the bins and use the hopper car to load the freight; the hopper car slides out at the touch of a button on the remote, forcing the bin to tilt and fill the monorail with the plastic balls. The monorail unloads its haul into a lift that automatically scales the 2 1/2'-high girders and dumps the balls into the system of chutes, sending them back to the bins where the monorail can pick up another load. The easy-to-follow, illustrated instruction manual ensures simple construction of the girders, chutes, and track. A four-way crossing and 6' of additional track (sold separately below) allow kids to design and expand their own track configurations. Requires one 9-volt and seven AA batteries. Imported.
