This is the de-icer that quickly melts hazardous ice dams, eliminating the risk of damage to a home’s roof and interiors. When positioned perpendicular to the roofline or in a gutter, the 16" tube of gelled magnesium chloride carves a channel in the ice and snow, allowing melted water to safely run off. Long lasting and nearly impervious to rain, the fast-acting de-icer is effective even in the coldest sub-zero temperatures and can prevent future ice buildup. Multiple tubes can be spaced 4' apart for optimum effect.
