The Rose Gardener's Shears

Invented by an M.I.T. mechanical engineer, these patented shears make it safe to work with roses or other thorny plants without getting scratched. Constructed for one-handed operation, the shear's stem-gripper cuts the stem and holds it, until you release it. This is also an ideal way to pick any flower or fruit without damaging it. As a further measure of protection, the shears have a built-in hand guard that allows for up close pruning. The unique blade is circular, so as it dulls it can be rotated (a simple screw mechanism loosens the blade) to a fresh cutting edge. The blade lasts six times longer than traditional shears and is made of stainless steel and light-weight ABS plastic. The shears also come with a clip for holding on the hip and an arm-guard sleeve for working with especially dense foliage. Please specify for right or left hand use.
