This is the wooden harp made from cherry and walnut that mounts to the inside of an exterior door to welcome guests with a chime of prosperity. Originating in Sweden 700 years ago and spreading throughout Scandinavia, its design was inspired by the Chinese Feng Shui tradition of hanging bells around doors to encourage good energy. When a door is opened, three cherry beads suspended from wires strike three different wires each tuned to a different note, chiming good intentions for luck and health for visitors. 9 3/4" H x 6 3/4" W.
