This is the camcorder and media recorder that enables you to record your videos to a DVD without a computer, ideal for distributing multiple DVDs of celebrations to guests. The camcorder houses an 80GB hard drive, storing up to 14 hours of video at its highest resolution (720 x 480), captured with its sensitive 800K pixel CCD. Videos can be immediately recorded to a DVD by attaching the camcorder to the recorder using the included USB cable; the recording process is controlled from the camcorder and if your videos run longer than a single DVD can hold, the camera will prompt you to insert another DVD. The recorder accepts DVD-R/W media. The camcorder provides 35X optical and 800X digital zoom, controlled from its 2 3/4" LCD. It can also take up to 9,999 still pictures at 832 x 624 resolution. Its mini-HDMI output upconverts video to 1920 x 1080/60p when connected to an HDTV for viewing.
