Product Story
This is the heirloom-quality solid wood rocking fire engine that evokes the introduction of motorized vehicles into the U.S. fire service nearly 100 years ago. The fire engine gently rocks, and is faithfully detailed, including running boards, an open cab, and a rear water tank reminiscent of those found on pumpers from the early 1900s. Equipped with hoses and a ladder, the pumper supports a single rider up to 150 lbs. Hand-made from maple and birch for their superior durability, and sanded to furniture-quality smoothness, the pumper is painted in a non-toxic high-gloss lacquer that will keep its luster for generations. Minimal assembly required. Ages 3 to 6. 40" L x 18 1/4" H x 21 1/4" H. (37 lbs.)
