This is the home monitoring system that uses a series of patented heat-sensing transmitters to detect a home fire faster than a traditional smoke detector. It comes with four wireless transmitters (additional units sold below) that can be placed anywhere in a home and monitor a room’s temperature. Once a sensor detects a reading of 150° F or higher, it sends a wireless signal to the system’s central hub—activating an alarm and notifying a homeowner of a fire. Ideal for placement in rooms and spaces without smoke detectors where fires often begin (kitchen, garage, laundry room), the sensors adhere to a wall with included adhesive strips and have a 90' range. Requires 11 AA batteries (two for each sensor, three for alarm hub). Not intended to replace smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors.
