Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the laser tag battle set that pits four combatants against one another for modern medieval supremacy. Each player bears a sword that emits a harmless infrared beam and a chest-mounted shield that detects when an opponent’s sword beam finds its mark from up to 50’ away. When a player presses a button on a sword, the plastic blade lights up as if casting a bolt of lightning and when a “hit” is achieved, the shield produces a sound—10 successive “hits” ends the duel. Requires 12 AAA batteries for four sword and shield sets. Ages 6 and up.
