This is the backyard game that combines tennis skills with tetherball strategy. The center steel post is held secure by a sand- or water-filled base while an included tennis ball (with cord) suspends from the top. Players take turns hitting the ball back and forth to each other—one player hits the ball clockwise while the other returns it counterclockwise—like a game of tetherball. Suitable for children and amateur athletes, it adjusts to three different heights between 51 1/2" and 70" and comes with two plastic rackets and a corded tennis ball.
