The Thomas Kinkade Faith Mountain

Inspired by Thomas Kinkade's original artwork, this mountain sculpture has 45 hand painted Biblical figurines in 13 scenes that depict the events of Holy Week. The meticulously detailed, three-dimensional scenes include Jesus riding the donkey into Jerusalem while people line his path with their coats, Pontius Pilate washing his hands during Jesus' trial, Jesus' crucifixion, and Mary Magdalene witnessing His resurrection. A sculpture of the resurrected Jesus stands at the apex of the mountain, evoking His ascension into Heaven. Green laurel bushes and palm trees line the mountain's landscape, and a stone village and a columned temple lend authenticity to the Biblical vignette. Thirty-five lights throughout the sculpture illuminate every window in the village and cast warm light onto the each scene.
