Its four LEDs bathe a door handle—among the most contaminated items you touch every day—in disinfecting 260-285nm wavelength UV-C light. In independent laboratory tests, the UV-C light neutralized 99% of surface bacteria after just 20 seconds of exposure. Built-in motion and heat sensors detect when people or pets approach the door and automatically turn off the light to prevent accidental exposure.
