The Wall Crawling Arachnid

This is the remote-controlled arachnid that scurries up flat walls and across ceilings. The spider's abdomen conceals a powerful motor-driven fan that provides suction, keeping the creepy arthropod attached to smooth walls and untextured ceilings. Two recessed wheels drive the spider forward, backward, left, or right using the included infrared remote, suggesting the deliberate scuttling of a spider seeking refuge or prey. It can also move along the ground without the fan's assistance--its front four and back four appendages move side-to-side to simulate movement. The spider's rechargeable battery provides up to 12 minutes of scuttling from a 30-minute charge from the remote. Remote requires six AA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 8 1/2" L x 6 1/2" W x 2 1/2" H.
