Product Story
This is the driving cap made of waterproof cashmere that keeps your head completely dry and the cashmere safe from water damage. Using 100% cashmere from Mongolia--one of the rarest, softest fibers in the world--that is treated in Italy to completely repel water, dirt, and stains, the hat is hand-blocked, shaped, and steamed on alder wood blocks in Tranas, Sweden. The interior is lined with 100% polyester and a 3-oz. polyester fill that insulates against wind, wicking away moisture from your head to the outside of the hat, keeping you warm and dry. Includes ear flaps. Imported. Specify size S (6 3/4-6 7/8), M (7-7 1/8), L (7 1/4-7 3/8), or XL (7 1/2-7 3/4). (5 oz.)
To get the proper fit in a hat, we recommend that you measure your head to determine your proper size according to the standard hat sizing chart shown below.
- Use a good quality tape measure, such as those used for sewing, to achieve the most accurate measurement.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your head. The tape should be placed where you want the hat to rest, usually 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch above the top of your ears. For the best-looking and most comfortable fit, the bottom of the tape should touch your eyebrows while positioned straight around your head. Don't pull the tape too snugly or your hat will fit that tightly.
- Once you've positioned the tape exactly where you want it, measure to the nearest one-eighth inch, or three millimeters.
- Measure your head a second and third time to ensure accuracy.
