This is the collage that celebrates the world-changing ingenuity of the Wright brothers. This rare artifact contains portraits of Wilbur and Orville Wright, an image of their 1902 motorless glider test, and the historic photograph of the first airplane flight on December 19th, 1903. The center features a cancelled check containing Orville Wright’s signature certified genuine by James Spence Authentication—one of the premier autograph authenticators in the world—and a plaque displaying an excerpt from Wilbur Wright’s letter to the Smithsonian in 1899.
