Combining two air-quality functions in one small footprint, this unit uses ionization and rotating disks to simultaneously remove airborne impurities and increase humidity. The disks pick-up water from a reservoir and release moisture into the air without generating mist (as is common with typical humidifiers), and as the device humidifies, an ionizer negatively charges airborne impurities as they are drawn into the unit. Once inside, the air pollutants are collected by the rotating disks and deposited in the water reservoir, cleaning the disk while ensuring pollutants are not recycled into the air. An ionic silver stick in the water reservoir eliminates up to 650 types of bacteria and viruses. With a programmable hygrostat that maintains humidity levels between 30% and 70%, and an easy-to-read LCD that shows current relative humidity. The water reservoir holds enough water for 12 hours of continuous use, adding up to three gallons of air moisture per day.
