The clock calibrates itself with a signal received from Boulder, adjusting its time by counting the atom oscillations sent by the official Department of Defense timekeeper. The classically styled timepiece sits in a cherry-finished wood frame, and brass accents highlight the clock face, as well as the accompanying thermometer (which measures temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit).
