This is the device that automatically kneads and extrudes fresh pasta in seven different shapes. Eliminating the strain of hand-kneading, the mixing bowl's paddle automatically combines flour and eggs and moves up and down to mimic hand-kneading, thoroughly developing the dough's gluten--the key to light, silky fresh pasta. When the dough is smooth--after approximately 20 minutes of kneading--simply pull the side lever to extrude the dough through one of seven interchangeable pasta shaping disks. Makes up to 3 lbs. of spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, lasagna, angel hair, rigatoni, or bucati. The pasta maker has a powerful, 300-watt motor and its mixing bowl, paddle, and extrusion disks remove easily for hand washing. Pasta shaping disks are made from durable brass and plastic.
