This is the briefcase made with leather that shares the same top-grain character and soft, buttery hand as a bomber jacket from World War II. It is made with meticulous care from select lambskin by renowned leathercrafters Scully, the 108 year-old company that provided leather flying helmets, jackets, and gloves to aviators during both World Wars. Vegetable-tanned and aniline-dyed into an antique brown, pebbled grain that imparts an heirloom-like quality, the briefcase opens to reveal a generously sized, double-gusseted main section that has a removable 15 1/2" padded laptop pouch. The main section’s rear has a zippered and open pocket for papers while its front has three smaller open pockets and an organizer for pens, cards, and cables. Two faux buckled straps that clip closed for convenience secure two satchel pockets on the briefcase’s exterior. With padded, adjustable shoulder strap. Its 100% cotton lining bears a drawn schematic of an iconic B-17 Flying Fortress. Brown. 11" H x 17" W x 5" D. (5 1/4 lbs.)
