This is the classic watch doctor's watch, first used by physicians in the 1940s, that has a very large second hand dial positioned in the center of the face, making it easier for physicians to accurately follow when taking the pulses of patients. The movement is precision quartz for accurate, reliable timekeeping, and the watch is water-resistant. The case is heavily plated in the precious metal palladium and shaped in a slight "pillow" design with raised Arabic numerals and minute markers.
