This is the 6 1/2"-long hand-blown glass pipette made in Scotland that adds a drop of water to one’s dram of Scotch whisky. It is ideal for diluting whisky to a preferred composition by neutralizing the sometimes oily, bitter, or grassy notes that accompany hot whisky. Adding a drop of water to iced whisky can also balance the flavor—all depending upon a whisky’s solubility, bottling, and age.
