The Evaporative Cooling Visor

This is the visor that uses evaporation to keep your head up to 20º F cooler than the outside air temperature. Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, it is made by a supplier of cooling apparel to professional cycling teams, Olympic athletes, and the military, the cooling properties of the visor are initiated by submerging it in cold water for at least two minutes and wringing out the excess moisture. The visor’s patented fabric inner liner retains the cool water where it vaporizes slowly over 5 hours, naturally drawing heat away from your head and keeping you cool.
