Users can select from three temperature settings for up to 13 hours of continuous heat on the lowest level to four hours on the highest. The hooded jacket is filled with 100 gm of polyfill insulation that provides sufficient warmth on crisp Fall or Spring days even without the heat turned on. The durable nylon exterior repels snow and sleet. The 12-volt lithium-ion battery pack tucks unobtrusively into an interior pocket and recharges after 2 1/2 hours using the included AC adapter.
