Known to the Romans as "camelopardalis" because it appeared to possess the characteristics of both animals, this giraffe has over 500 spots covering its entire body and a 21" plush mane that runs from the back of its head to the middle of its back. The giraffe has details such as ossicones--the bony projections on giraffes heads--soft floppy ears, large plastic blue eyes, and an 11" tail. A plush slipcover made of non-toxic hand-washable acrylic fiber zips to conceal and protect a durable, puncture-resistant inflatable PVC bladder fitted with a Boston valve, the same kind used on inflatable rafts.
