The Advanced Intelligence Telescope

This is the telescope that determines which celestial bodies are the best to view and automatically moves to bring the images into optimal view. Winner of the Consumer Electronic Show award for Design and Engineering Excellence, the telescope uses its location and the current time to find the optimal direction for celestial observation. A built-in camera takes images of the sky at the touch of a button, and the telescope compares the photographs to an internal database of 4,000 stars, planets, and galaxies, and hones in on the celestial bodies in three minutes¿faster than any self-aligning telescope available. Aspiring astronomers can also select celestial bodies from the database using the tethered controller and the telescope will automatically orient itself relative to the night sky. The telescope has a 70-mm aperture and a refractor optical design that provide high contrast images, a 700 mm focal length that yields a maximum usable magnification of 78X, and a 91' field-of-view at 1,000 yards that displays wide expanses of sky.
