The Always Current Interactive Globe

This is the interactive globe that delivers up-to-date information on world affairs with the touch of a wand. The talking globe plays an overview of current international news, then lets kids go deeper into specific countries by tapping the wand to the map and selecting one of more than 20 topics on its base. The recordings detail everything from a country’s leader and history to its capital city and currency. A game setting lets kids race against the clock or each other to find items on the globe; a “passport” plays lessons on animals, food, landmarks, and more. Information is updated monthly by connecting the wand to an internet-connected PC running Windows 7, Vista, or XP with the included USB cable.
