This key-wound music box looks like a hardcover book of Christmas tales but opens to reveal an animated scene of Santa's workshop. The tableau consists of a jolly Ol' Saint Nick rocking playfully while a music-box rendition of We Wish You a Merry Christmas plays. On his workbench are two three-dimensional Santa Claus figurines, one that moves side to side on a toy reindeer while toting a sack of gifts and another that oscillates while holding a candy cane-filled stocking. The book stands upright and its cover and spine are decorated with a golden Christmas wreath, holly leaves, and a reindeer. Made from engineered wood. 6 1/2" W x 2 1/2" D x 8 1/2" H. (1 1/3 lbs.)
