The Animated Santa's Workshop

This is the animated, musical display that depicts Santa busily preparing for his annual delivery of Christmas gifts. Hand-sculpted, cast in resin, and painted in rich color, the delicately detailed multi-story, snow-covered workshop features a weathered wood facade, metal gears, silver pipes, and chimneys that suggest Saint Nick's investment in perfecting his present packaging process. With Santa's hand on the apparatus' lever (and when you twist a knob in the rear), the workshop comes alive with a working, cog-driven conveyer belt that appears to deposit wrapped presents into a green bag, accompanied by a circling four-car holiday train beneath the amber glow of an illuminated window. Eight Christmas songs, including standards such as Deck the Halls, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, and Oh Christmas Tree, play to create a festive mood among Santa's five elven assistants.
