The scratch- and impact-resistant lenses are made from the same distortion-free mineral glass used on watch faces, and their grey tint provides the truest perception of colors, ideal for reading maps and identifying landmarks. The non-polarized surface, recommended for helicopter and airplane pilots, is essential for deciphering dashboard instruments, which are often outfitted with antiglare filters.
