Simply stake the unit into the soil and it measures soil moisture and drainage, sunlight levels, ambient temperature and humidity for 24 hours. The top of the unit detaches and plugs into a computer's USB port, allowing you to upload the data to the manufacturer's website. The website automatically analyzes the data and uses a database of 5,000 species to determine which plants will flourish in your environment. Ideal for the novice gardener or the green-thumbed, the device can be placed next to an ailing plant to analyze its surroundings and offer solutions to foster robust growth.
