These are the hand-built four-way speakers that produce the widest, most stable acoustic sweet spot of any speakers available. The cabinet's rounded, teardrop shape produces broad, horizontal sound dispersion across an entire room while eliminating the distortion created by secondary reflections in rectangular cabinets. Three tapered tubes extending from the drivers to the back of the cabinet channel dampen unwanted sound coloration and resonance, ensuring only pristine sound emanates from the speaker. Two bass drivers float on silicone O-rings, eliminating mechanical coloration, and the cochlear shaped cabinet absorbs sound and prevents reflections, resulting in pure, tight bass. The tweeter and mid range drivers have catenary domes and carbon fiber rings that elevate breakup modes to above 40kHz¿2X higher than typical hemispherical domes¿and produce a harmonic distortion of less than 0.5%. Made from quasi-isotropic glass, reinforced plastic, and a lightweight balsa core, the cabinet undergoes a painstaking hand-finishing process that includes two layers of high-body primer, three layers of pigment, four layers of clear lacquer, and two coats of wax before being hand-polished.
