The Australian Drover's Shirt

This shirt evolved from the rugged military uniforms worn by the drovers who comprised Australia's 19th-century cavalry units. Later adapted to suit the harsh, demanding conditions of the Outback once these soldiers returned to their former jobs as cattle ranchers, it is made of durable, 100% cotton canvas woven with a hand similar to stone-washed denim. The shirt's hefty 10 oz. fabric protects against scrapes when hiking, working, or riding while providing a relaxed, comfortable fit ideal for camping or lounging. Retaining the original two pockets and twin epaulets, it has been updated for modern use with a washable leather collar.
