This is the same hanging hammock chair found in tropical resorts along the coast of El Sunzal, El Salvador. Made famous by wave-seeking tourists in the 60’s and 70’s, El Sunzal became a popular destination for recreational surfers due to its long point breaking waves and year-round surfing-friendly weather. Handcrafted by local artisans, this chair pays homage to the original hammocks that provided a luxurious experience with plump padded cushioning designed to ensure optimal comfort and snug relaxation. It provides the perfect oasis for nestling into a midday siesta or stargazing under a late summer sky. The fabric seat is made with 100% cotton and suspends from a Chilean yellow pine spreader bar that supports up to 300 lbs. Imported. Natural or Blue. 51" L x 49" W. (4 1/2 lbs.)
