Winner of a Toy Insider STEM 10 Award and ASTRA’s Best Toys For Kids Award in the construction category, this is the physics kit that provides children with the parts and instructions to build a wall-climbing geckobot. When assembled, an air suction system integrated into its design enables the battery powered robot to walk up and down walls, windows, or other smooth vertical surfaces. Its walking motion is achieved via vacuum-like suction engaged at the bottom of two opposing feet while air is expelled from the bottom of the other two. The kit can also be configured into six alternative models including a tow truck, smartphone holder, and inch worm. Includes 176 pieces and a 24-page color instruction booklet. Requires two AAA batteries. Ages 8 and up.
