Each episode highlights Carson's incomparable comic timing, whether bantering with guests, playing the reverse psychic "Carnac" The Magnificent, challenging audience members to Stump the Band, or delivering his opening monologue. A bonus disk features all new interviews with some of The Tonight Show's regular guest stars including actress Loni Anderson, animal handler Jim Fowler, and comedian David Brenner.
