This is the wooden barrel planter built with a patented base that provides superior aeration for preventing root rot. Unlike conventional solid-bottom barrels that cannot allow water to drain properly, this one better addresses excessive moisture with a molded polyethylene bottom that includes nine large drainage columns. Four extend upward/five extend downward to increase the bottom’s overall surface area, which allows roots to breathe while the entire bottom between the columns is perforated for maximum water drainage.
