Unlike lesser citrus presses with static reamers and levers that require laborious manual efforts, this advanced unit has a patented mechanical arm that lowers with minimal force and a powered, four-fin reamer that extracts optimal fresh juice from any kind of citrus, regardless of size. Simply place half of a citrus fruit on the reamer and lower the double-hinged mechanical arm. The arms domed press centers the fruit on the reamer and, as pressure is applied to the reamer, it automatically begins to spin. The reamers specially designed multi-tiered fins extract juice and pulp without removing the bitter pith. The unit comes with two interchangeable stainless steel filters (one with fine perforations and another with wide slots) that remove seeds yet allow you to determine the amount of pulp in your juice. The stainless steel reamer, juice collector, and spout resist citrus acidity and the housing is made from chrome plated diecast aluminum, ensuring years of durable use. With a soft-grip handle and a spout that raises to prevent dripping between uses. The reamer, filters, spout, and domed press remove and are dishwasher safe. Stainless steel housing wipes clean.
