The Blade Preserving Knife Sharpener

This is the only electric knife sharpener that can prolong the life of blades by removing the barest minimum of metal to achieve a fine edge. While other sharpeners erode knives with aggressive grinding, the interlocking ceramic wheels of this model gently file a blade's edge, preserving it for more years of use. While other sharpeners employ multiple steps and an array of slots, this model saves time with a single slot to sharpen both sides at once. The ceramic wheels are suited for standard straight-edge knives and double-beveled Asian-style knives. This unit also has a manual ceramic slot for serrated blades and a retractable scissors sharpener.
