The 3' 9"-tall Santa sits inside a 4 1/2'-long hand-painted pine wood sleigh with iron runners, and his steel frame, fluid gears, and 10 rpm motor provide graceful side-to-side movement of the head while his hand gently waves to onlookers. Santa's face is sculpted from resin and hand-painted to enhance his rosy cheeks and twinkling eyes that sparkle behind his gold spectacles. His hair, beard, and mustache are made from thick, hand-combed realistic fur, and his burgundy suit is made from 100% velvet trimmed with plush white fur on the cuffs, waist, and front. One hundred clear lights rated for 1,500 hours are woven through the evergreen branches and glisten in three different light patterns that adjust using the integrated controller.
