The British Biplane Timepiece

This is the luxury timepiece reminiscent of the wristwatches worn by early-20th century British biplane pilots. It features an over-sized push crown evocative of watches preferred by open cockpit aviators that enabled pilots to set time without removing their gloves. Its precise automatic 21-jewel movement provides impeccable timekeeping for on-the-second synchronization and is secured in a brushed 316 L stainless steel case. A hardened K1 mineral crystal protects the face against scratches and has a triple-layer anti-reflective coating that prevents glare. Arabic numbers mark each hour within the 1 3/4"-diameter face, a 24-hour subdial keeps military time, and a window provides the date. A stainless steel buckle secures the 1"-wide brown leather band on wrists up to 8 3/4" in circumference.
