The Build Your Own Space Explorer

This is the kit that enables the intrepid space explorer to create a fleet of seven different vehicles for scouting out the heavens. Powered via built-in solar panels or micro-rechargeable batteries, the vehicles all stem from a master robot spaceship that asserts its command of a star system. The first modular vehicle includes a spaceship that explores outer atmospheres to ensure adequate life support is present. Then a three-wheeled rover or three-wheeled sensor unit can be sent on reconnaissance missions, after which a robotic canine or humanoid can explore a planet’s, satellite’s, or comet’s surface. Once a colony has been established, the kit converts to a space station that maintains orbit to provide overwatch and guard against competing civilizations. Ages 10 and up. 8 3/4" H x 5" W x 8" D.
