Crafted from beech selected for its naturally smooth, fine grain and strength, the wooden pieces are precisely cut into four lengths and drilled with three to six holes. Using the included wooden screwdriver, wooden pieces attach using multicolored plastic double-slot screws that fit into the holes and secure with the kit’s nuts and washers. The instructions demonstrate how to create the windmill’s three blades from the basic piece-screw-washer-nut configuration in easy-to-follow, color-coordinated steps.
