This amusing and engaging toy preys on a feline's natural hunting instincts, recreating the unpredictable, herky-jerky movements of a flittering butterfly. The unit's electronic motor spins a furry lure, reversing its direction at random to keep a pouncing predator off balance. The toy's removable plastic wand bends when the lure is swatted or captured, then returns to its original shape. A knob on the base controls the lure's speed and a built-in timer (15-120 minutes in 15-minute increments) shuts the toy off automatically to conserve batteries and a feline's patience. Rubber feet protect floors and fold-out stabilizers keep the toy from tipping during boisterous feline attacks. Includes a spare lure. Requires three AA batteries. 9 1/2" H x 7 1/2" diam. (2 lbs.)
