These are the extra-large gourmet peanuts that are grown in the heart of Virginia Peanut Country and dipped in rich milk chocolate for a salty-sweet snack. Made by the famous 85-year-old Virginia Diner in Wakefield, where the local large-kernelled peanuts are so crunchy and flavorful they are served in lieu of after-dinner mints, the peanuts are shelled and roasted before receiving their candied shells. This set contains two specialties: one tin of peanuts is slathered first in gooey peanut butter, then dunked in rich milk chocolate, creating the peanut-lover’s ultimate flavor combination. The other tin contains chocolate-covered peanuts that receive two baths in the silky confection for a thick, decadent exterior that will delight any chocoholic. Two 20-oz. tins. (1 1/4 lbs.)
