This is the table lamp that illuminates one’s reading with the works of literary luminaries. Inspired by noteworthy novels—Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, and Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea—the lamp uses an artistic interpretation of an open book as the shade. The shade is made from durable plexiglass backed by opal PVC that allows your preferred 60-watt bulb (best when using 8- to 12-watt LED bulbs) to back a novel’s cover in warm, ambient light. Plugs into AC with a 6 1/2"-long cord; rotary switch on cord. 8 1/2" H x 4 3/4" W. (1 1/2 lbs.)
