The Classic Cruiser Ride On

This is the children’s electric ride-on that pays homage to the classic convertibles of the postwar era, available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer. Cool cats and slick chicks can cruise the sidewalk in retro style at a leisurely 4-5 mph with a press of the foot pedal; releasing the pedal brings the car to a safe stop. Low/high speed and forward/reverse direction is selected via a switch and a shift lever respectively, or young drivers can relinquish control to a parent who uses the included four-button remote control. The single-rider cruiser makes a revving motor sound when the key is turned, and it has a working horn, LED headlights, doors, and trunk. Buttons on the steering wheel play six musical tracks, or you can play your own “stax of wax” from an MP3 player or smartphone plugged into the aux jack. With its plastic whitewall tires, polished front bumper and grill, and retro tail fins, this sweet ride transports a child straight to “coolsville”.
